Problem Statement

HSBC employees were navigating multiple disconnected systems to access operational, customer, and business-critical data — causing time-consuming workflows, manual validation bottlenecks, poor data discoverability, and significant productivity loss across internal teams.

Our Approach

Led end-to-end UX strategy through stakeholder discussions, workflow analysis, and requirement gathering sessions. Created user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs delivered iteratively through agile sprints in close collaboration with business, product owners, and engineering teams.

Challenge

Unifying complex enterprise workflows — bulk uploads, BIA assessments, data discovery, and role-based access governance — into a single coherent platform while ensuring accessibility, consistency, and scalability for high-volume operational users.

Solution

Redesigned the ODS platform as a unified enterprise hub with centralized data discovery, guided bulk upload workflows with validation states and error handling, structured BIA workflows with step-by-step progression and status tracking, and a reusable design system providing consistent UI patterns across all operational modules.

Outcome

Improved operational workflow efficiency and user adoption across internal HSBC teams. Reduced friction in bulk upload operations, simplified BIA assessment tracking, enhanced data discoverability, and established a scalable enterprise UX foundation supporting future platform modules.
